I believe the box score tells the story. Shooting 40% to the MR 53%.

We basically gave the game away. Up 4 pts and then took several stupid quick shots and Manchester comes back and takes the lead. Of course we come back and tie it, but then the Anderson prayer seals their fate. 2nd game in a row we shoot ourselves in the face at the FT line. Games like this one cost teams playoff spots.

About 30 Vermont fans made their way to Manchester. We dug ourselves into another early hole and fought our way out to tie and take the lead late in the 4th. The Rats came back to tie it with 3.1 seconds. Anderson took the inbounds and went right to the basket and as he was falling to the floor, put the ball up with no time left, and it went in. Amazing. So, after 4 years with possibly 12 trips or more, we still don't have a win in Manchester.
You're right 96, poor free throw shooting hurt us as did leaving someone wide open to hit the 3, but what won't show up on CREZ was some pretty obvious non-team play amongst a few players.
Pretty soon, the playoff math will be our biggest challenger.

Another note. if you look at the box scores for both teams...we took ALOT more shots. Anderson only shot in the 40% bracket...but he made the ones that really counted.
Al Stewart shot 80% from the floor and 100% of 3pt shots. ( one shot). Our PBL player of the week Jackson shot 11% from the floor and 50% of 3pts. (two shots) Baliey....hot a week or so ago.....shot 0% from the floor (0-7) and 33% 3 pts. (2-6)

Stewart played a great game for the Frost Heaves. He is a professional and he played like a Frost Heave. It was some of our more seasoned players that were a total disappointment in the word TEAM. There is no I in team and they need to grow up and act like men, not little whine a@@es. You can't win a game by yourself, you need to pass and use your teammates, which they failed at miserably. Plain and Simple.
And no, it wasn't any previous players.
D Rice and A. Cook and Stewart all had great games. M. Austin did great too, along with Benson. Jared was going up strong. Jeral did well too. Matt Hall had some game time, too. We were oh so close, but it is what it is.
On to Halifax in Burlington, next Sunday. GO HEAVES
RESPECT does not exist within the team and it really showed last night.
