They were a very physical team who knows how to play the game. It is not hard to see why they are #1.

Elias Ayuso hit 8 out of 10 three-pointers for a total of 40 points. Our guys hung in there after finding themselves in a hole in the first quarter. Our regular scorers weren't hitting. Jared came thru with 16 points. Even on a bum ankle, Al Stewart (listed as Trimboli if you're looking at CREZ) played very well. He will be a huge asset for us. We're off to Manchester in a few hours, and it will be interesting to see how the Rats react to Al.
I agree, TR, there's a good reason Puerto Rico is in 1st place. Still, we had a few chances to take that game but didn't.
Glad there was a great crowd, too - maybe 1400.

I thought it was a great game. Our guys just couldnt buy a basket when they needed to. A few of the Puerto Rico players are good actors, as well as good basketball players. All part of the game.
