I briefly stopped by practice today. I met Jeral - 7'1" and lanky. I also said hello to Al who's nursing a sore ankle. He's glad to be in Vermont and hopes the fans will ring the bells for him. Al's a class act and I'll have no problem welcoming him to Barre Friday nite.
Should be a good game...the team wants a victory Friday nite.

Wow, a Big and Al Stewart. We will really have a fast game, Dwuan, Troy, Aaron and Al. Can't wait for Friday. Hopefully Al is ready to play. and a BIG WELCOME to the Frost Heaves. The Bells will be ringing.

I wonder if he can cut it as a Frost Heave? Al Stewart has bounced around a lot. I suppose that bounce qualifies him to be on the team. Perhaps I have another player (another face) in mind when his name is mentioned so perhaps he is indeed a "class act". I am from Missouri on this one. (this means: show me, Al).

Al's not "bounced around alot"....4 years ago he was with Corning, and when they folded he was picked up by the Millrats (oh, those pesky Millrats, Blacksmith :-) ) and until a few weeks ago, he's been with them the whole time. And, just in case someone asks about the infamous fight, Al was not involved. In fact, that was one of his first games with Manchester and after the game he was upset by what happened.

I am glad that we signed Al Stewart. I think he will be a great addition and complement to Dwuan Rice. Blacksmith, I know that we don't like the idea of signing Millrats, but I think that Al will serve us well. Friday should be a red hot game.
