To all, I guess that the Heaves have to have their final roster set by 12/31. We can have 12 active players on the roster. Based on what I have seen so far and the hope of the one new guy that will be coming in today.
My prediciton is that the Heaves Final Roster will look like this:
Jay Greene PG (still injured) Brandon Ball PG Brandon Cotton PG Aaron Cook SG (still injured) Marcus Hall SG Troy Jackson SG Marcus Austin SF (still injured) New Guy SF Juwann Bailey PF (arrived in VT Mon) Ross Demasi PF D'Lancy Carter PF/C Jared Carter C
Inactive: Bobby Shedd SF
Any other predicitions???

Well, here are the Frost Heaves players that now appear on the PBL web site www.thepbl.com/players.cfm. I guess this means Aaron Cook won't be ready to start the season... but how far away is he? Does this mean Greene and Austin will be ready on Sunday? Hopefully soon the team will update their own web site with the roster and a story and check the name spellings and add what colleges they went to (all the other team's players have a college or hometown listed, no Frost Heaves do). 25 Marcus Austin SF 6'6" 210 Vermont Frost Heaves 44 Jawan Bailey SF 6'8" 235 Vermont Frost Heaves 3 Brandon Ball PG 5'11" 180 Vermont Frost Heaves 20 Marshall Brown PF 6'7" 245 Vermont Frost Heaves 50 D'Lancey Carter CTR 6'10" 270 Vermont Frost Heaves 33 Jared Carter CTR 7'2" 270 Vermont Frost Heaves 32 Brandon Cotton SG 6'0" 205 Vermont Frost Heaves 42 Ross Demasi PF 6'8" 220 Vermont Frost Heaves 2 Jay Greene PG 5'8" 160 Vermont Frost Heaves 31 Matt Hall SG 6'4" 190 Vermont Frost Heaves 12 Troy Jackson PG 6'4" 210 Vermont Frost Heaves 21 Kendrick Price PF 6'9" 230 Vermont Frost Heaves

I wonder if Jay will be gone for the season and will be replaced. This would be unfortunate, but if he can't play for weeks then......

Stephan and Marshall are great additions to the team. Would really like to see Jay Greene play, but things aren't sounding very good about his injury. We could still trim a few that don't seem to give 110%.
It seemed like a totally different team at Manchester, than a week ago. Great to Have Marcus back, he had a great game.
GO HEAVES

GO HEAVES That's really a shame, especially in his first year of trying to establish himself as a pro. He played through a lot of pain at UMBC and set a school record in minutes played, so there's no doubt he's a gamer. If you have a chance to talk to him, please let him know that lots of folks back at UMBC and alumni around the country are pulling for him.

Thanks and I'll keep my fingers crossed. While we're on the impromptu injury report is there any news on Aaron Cook? He's an America East guy too, though not from my school.
