www.democratandchronicle.com/article/20100423/SPORTS/4230325As Lawton-Fort Sill coach Micheal Ray Richardson was escorted off the Blue Cross Arena court after being ejected with 2.8 seconds remaining in overtime Thursday night, he was struck in the head by a water bottle thrown by a person in the stands. "I was going out and I was walking out and he (expletive deleted) threw a bottle of water that hit me in my head," Richardson said by phone after his team lost Game 1 of the Premier Basketball League championship series to the Rochester RazorSharks 110-106. "That's all I could remember. The game is over. It was a great game and that's it. I don't want to talk about anything else. We had a chance to win and we didn't." After Richardson was hit, the Lawton-Fort Sill bench emptied and 10 players, led by former NBA player Oliver Miller, crossed the court and went into the crowd. Words and stern looks were exchanged, but no punches were thrown. Rochester coach Rod Baker followed the Cavalry players into the stands and tried to control Miller. Blue Cross Arena security then intervened and the Lawton-Fort Sill players were cleared from the stands. Two water bottles were thrown onto the floor from the stands and the game was then called. "I didn't want anybody to get hurt," Baker said. "Nothing good was going to happen." Game 2 in the best-of-three series is scheduled for Sunday in Oklahoma and PBL chairman of the board and Rochester owner Dr. Sev Hrywnak said the game will proceed as scheduled. Hrywnak declined to comment on the incident. "The commissioner (Tom Doyle) and I will review the tape and appropriate fines and suspensions will be handed out," he said by phone from Chicago. "We can't comment until we see the tape. We can't go off other people's stories." Team co-owner Orest Hrywnak also declined comment. He said he did not witness what happened because he was in the arena atrium to thank fans after the final home game of the season. Glen Dandridge and Lincoln Smith both scored 20 points for Rochester. Elvin Mims led the Cavalry with 20.

And here is a video clip... rochester.ynn.com/content/top_stories/502621/tensions-run-high-at-razorsharks-game/While Oliver Miller's actions are reprehensible, the fan throwing the water bottle at Michael Ray, if just as offensive. We've witnesses a lot of 'scuffles' between our players and several other teams' players. While I don't believe I have seen a Frost Heaves fan throw anything at an opposing player, I hope we never see it, because if it happens, and I witness it, you can bet the farm that you will be found and dealt with appropriately.

From the PBL website
After reviewing the actions of all parties following Thursday night’s 110-106 overtime victory by the Rochester RazorSharks over the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry in Game 1 of the 2010 Premier Basketball League finals, the League Office has made the following determinations regarding fines and suspensions.
Because of the actions at the end of the game, the PBL has issued the following fines and suspensions.
Lawton-Fort Sill head coach Micheal Ray Richardson has been fined an undisclosed amount for both abusive and vulgar language used during a PBL game, and not leaving the court in a timely manner after receiving his second technical foul.
The Rochester RazorSharks organization has been fined an undisclosed amount for not providing adequate security at the end of the game.
Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry player Oliver Miller has been suspended for the remainder of the PBL Playoffs due to his actions. These actions are completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated in the Premier Basketball League.
Several other members of the Cavalry team have been fined an undisclosed amount for leaving the bench and entering the stands.
Both teams and their organizations have been placed on notice that any further actions in the PBL finals series by either squad that are detrimental to the sport of basketball, or the standards of the Premier Basketball League, will result in increased fines, along with possible suspensions and possible forfeiture.
“The events at the conclusion of the playoff game marred what was shaping up to be a classic playoff series,” said Thomas E. Doyle, Jr., Commissioner of the Premier Basketball League. “We will not tolerate any actions in which our players, our coaches, or our fans, are placed in any harm or danger, under any circumstance. Because of his actions, Oliver Miller has been suspended indefinitely from the Cavalry. There is no excuse for his poor choice in judgment.”
The series continues with Game 2 of the finals, which will take place Sunday, April 25 at the Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton, Oklahoma.

The clip I posted the link to actually had much more of what went down early this morning. Around 10:30AM, they "updated" the footage to edit the Miller shove out of it. I am indeed looking for that other footage and I will post a link to it if I can find it.
