During today's farewell party, I mentioned to one of the players I saw this as another successful year. He wondered how I could consider this a successful season since we didn't get to the playoffs. He truly felt he disappointed the fans because we didn't make the playoffs on our own merits.
I told him to consider how disastrous the season started for us both on and off the court, and how successful it ended.
I also told the player that, as fans, we got to enjoy great basketball, meet new fans, welcome back past players, and get to know new players.....that's my definition of success!!!
See ya in the stands!

Great Reply Dog.
I also had a similiar discussion with a player. Many of them mentioned the chemistry that they had at the end of the year, and how it would have helped in the beginning. As we all know how important chemistry is. Of the players I asked about returning, they all had positive responses and it seemed like they were ready to go home, but also not in a rush.
They enjoyed their time and we enjoyed the great roller coaster ride. See yeah in the Stand. GO HEAVES 2011
