www.oursportscentral.com/services/releases/?id=3987530The Premier Basketball League is pleased to announce that both the league and the Puerto Rico Capitanes have settled all differences between both parties, and the Capitanes will return to the PBL and participate in the 2009-10 postseason. "Puerto Rico's players earned the right to participate in the postseason by virtue of their stellar record," said Thomas E. Doyle, Esq., President of the Premier Basketball League. "While all parties may have their differences, whatever issues were previously raised throughout this season will be dealt with off the court and in a reasonable manner. What matters most to the Premier Basketball League is the game of basketball, first and foremost, and the integrity of the sport." The unplayed game between Puerto Rico and the Rochester Razorsharks, which was originally scheduled for April 3 in Puerto Rico, will now be played on Sunday, April 11 in Arecibo, P.R. The final playoff schedule will be announced at the conclusion of the regular season.

The league, i.e., Rochester's owners, obviously figure that this will somehow help the Razorsharks win the title.

Soon after I entered the Memorial tonight, I asked Mike, "Are we out?", and he said "No", but would not elaborate any.

From todays Times Argus
Vermont will wait for the end of the PBL regular-season – Which falls on Sunday, when Halifax travels to Puerto Rico – to learn its playoff fate. Without Puerto Rico, Vermont would've been the No. 4 seed and faced No. 1 Lawton-Fort Sill in the first round. With Puerto Rico, Vermont drops to No. 5 and is in danger of not making the playoffs. Salerno confirmed none of his players are running into a time crunch regarding contracts signed for the summer, and all will be available if the team does qualify for the postseason.
which is odd as Halifax record is 13-7 meaning they already played their 20 games

If we dont get in, the PBL will say "it was a Federal Court ruling...sorry..nothing we can do. Please try again next year."
And Levingston doesnt care because 1: the Rainmen are in, and 2: he's in bed with the PBL as "director of international expansion" or whatever bogus title they gave him.
