Marshall was named PBL player of the week. His two performances in Maryland was pure artistry. He's on the mark inside and around the perimeter. He's become a floor leader and is rewarded for his efforts with a lot of playing time.
He's become one of my favorite players this year.

From the PBL's weekly report... VERMONT’S MARSHALL BROWN NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK The Premier Basketball League is pleased to announce that Marshall Brown of the Vermont Frost Heaves is the PBL Player of the Week for the week ending March 21, 2010. Brown joins fellow Frost Heave Troy Jackson as having earned Player of the Week honors this season. In three games this week, the 6’7” small forward from Missouri averaged over 30 points per game, including 21 points in a Vermont win over Manchester on March 16; 30 points in a Vermont victory over Maryland on March 19; and a franchise-high 42 points in a Frost Heaves triumph over the GreenHawks on March 20. Those three wins have brought the Frost Heaves over the .500 mark for the first time this season. www.thepbl.com/wr/wr_pdf16.pdf

That must have been the easiest decision ever made for the PBL. He has been our most consistent player and a huge reason our season has turned around. Wanted to see Marshall as one of our all-stars. Maybe we should send three players.
