End of 1st half
VT 47, Quebec 50
Quebec shooting from outside is good. They are using full 24 secs.
VT defense looks good. Hope to wear them down in second half.

Quebec only shot 38% from the field, and my guess is that most of the misses came in the second half. Very good defensive effort, and looks like Aaron Cook is back on his game, and that's great to see.
Today's Halifax-Rochester game (2:05PM) should be a pretty good game.

Final Score 103-88....Kebs came out strong shotting well while we struggled, but stayed close enough throughout the first half (Kebs 50-47 at the half) Our bench strength began to take its toll on Quebec as the Kebs didn't substitute well. We turned it around in the 3rd quarter going into the 4th with an 8 point lead - 77-69. Our defense continued to improve in the 4th and showed balanced scoring - 6 guys ended in double figures. Big Al hit three 3s in the final minutes, and Aaron "Now We're Cookin'" went 4 for 4 with 3s. "The Marshall's in Town" Brown had a great game at both ends. "Go On" Dwuan had a double/double picking up 10 rebounds and scoring 11 points. "Awesome" Austin was dressed and ready to play, if needed, but has had a bit of a stomach flu this week, so he sat. Bobby didn't make the trip since he doesn't have a passport yet.
Good crowd at Lavall...lots of kids, lots of noise. About 14 or so Heaves fans showed up to watch our guys put together a good game as we climb the mountain to the playoffs.
NOTE: Brandon Cotton, former Heave who signed with the Kebs this week, left the team already.
Next game - Tuesday vs Manchester in Barre (doesn't show up PBL schedule, but I'll be there)
GO HEAVES
