In the first quarter against the Bellingham Slam, Callier took a hard elbow to the chest from Slam guard Jared Stevenson. Callier hit the floor hard and stayed down for several minutes as he collected himself. "(Stevenson) hit me with a John Stockton move," Callier said. "I don't know if I've had one of those ever in my life. But he hit me right in the sweet spot. I mean, I just went straight down. It felt like my heart was about to blow up." Callier returned to the game shortly afterwards and would get the last laugh as he scored two clutch buckets to hold off the Slam in the final minutes of play. His jumper in the lane with two minutes to play made it 127-124. He followed that with a big one-handed dunk to restore the three-point margin and added a blocked shot with eight seconds remaining. Callier finished with 19 points. Steve Sir led the Energy with 24. Jacob Stevenson had a game-high 39 points for the Slam. The two teams will tip off at the University of Alberta's Main Gym tonight and will play a third game on Saturday at Ross Sheppard High School. Both games are at 7 p.m. Read more: www.edmontonjournal.com/sports/Calier%20gets%20floor%20spark%20Edmonton%20effort/3080322/story.html#ixzz0pF2Pr3mQ
