TR brought up Al in another thread, and I posted this on the Heaves Facebook wall...
While we all know what Al has brought to the Frost Heaves in his short time here,
I would like to ask Coach Salerno for a favor, even though he probably has no idea who I am.
When Al came in, there sere skeptics. Al Stewart has earned the respect of his team mates, his coaches and probably every Frost Heaves fan. While I realize that Thursday night’s game against Rochester is very important in deciding who we face in the playoffs, I would like to see Al get the start in Friday night’s game in Burlington.
I do believe that Al has earned the right to start at least one game for us. He has been a very valuable addition to this team and his contributions have not gone unnoticed.

I tried to paste a link, but when I clicked it, it told me the page wasn't found. I just typed Vermont Frost Heaves into their search box and was taken to their page, which has not been updated all that much.

As good as Al has been for us, you don't mess with a lineup that is winning. You also don't make request who you want to see start a game. Our starters have earned the right to be THE starters. If you think Thursday nights game is very important well Friday night is just as important. Have to win both games so we get the number 3 seed and face Rochester or else it's the 4 seed vs Oklahoma. www.facebook.com/pages/Vermont-Frost-Heaves/203029430026?ref=ts
