Neither team really looked like they wanted to take command of the game early and the score was something like 10-6 with 4 minutes left in the first. We went on something like a 21-0 run and never really looked back. Buffalo really couldn't hit anything, especially free throws, in the fourth and almost everything we put up went in. Bailey had monster game, and made me think of Issa in our second year. The guy was everywhere. I've already said it to the guys, but I do want to thank Dog and Couch Rouelle (he earned that name tonight) for taking me on their 'little' sojurn today. It was a long trip, but well worth it. Sweep, DR, Coach and Mrs. Rouelle, thanks for the updates and the relentless fan support. I am sure that you gave the team the sixth man that they needed.

We're back from Bufflalo, and it was great to have the Sweeper with us again. Our very first official Fan Van trip was the one to Corning, and sweep was with us. Sweeper is right, Jawan had a big game ending with 36 points, and when we're winning and playing well, it seemed like no one could stop us. But we had some cold streaks and if Buffalo wasn't shooting their frees as badly as they were, the game would've been a lot closer.
We ran into Fancy D'Lancy in the stands, and he says "hi" to all his friends here in Vermont, and we said "hey" to Marcus Hall, who's on Buffalo but started the year with us.
There were only 300 or so fans, many of whom were kids under the age of 9 or so it semed, and they were hardly paying attention. They had a singer/guitarist play during pre-game, and I, of course, got a photo with her :-) and the kids had a flag football game during half time which was fun to watch.
I like our chances to continue to move up into the top 4. We only have 4 away games left including the two game set in Maryland, so the schedule favors us, although these last wins on the road have been huge for us. Rochester has lost three in a row, Puerto Rico has played all of its games at home so now they have to start traveling bigtime. Halifax and Oklahoma are definitely the strongest in my opinion, but we're coming back!
While we were definitely "hot and cold" last night, the team showed some heart staying focused on the game and not getting frustrated (no technicals), We moved the ball up and down the court really well. There were some turnovers on transition, though. I think it's time to call us a "very fast" team. As usual, Ross, Jawan, Dwuan, Troy, Marshall had good games. I know Aaron has a big game coming soon - he's just way too good to not. Jared put in some good minutes, too as did Matt Hall.
We have to come out strong on Friday against Puerto Rico, and I hear we'll have a big crowd - lots of kids, like we did against Manchester.
Looking forward to seeing the Capitanes in Barre on Friday, 2/19...it's also Bump's birthday!!!

Stats show we only committed 9 turnovers!! That's a huge improvement and we need to keep them low against Puerto Rico to secure our 4th win in a row. We shot an amazing 22-26 from the free throw line and had 12 steals. We just need to keep the personal fouls down. Had 27 against Buffalo.
